Asian food is a favorite in my household. This Saki beef and veggie yakisoba recipe is a huge hit! I made extra for lunch the next day and it was all gone at dinner. The saki adds a nice flavor to the beef and sauce of this recipe.

Saki & Ginger Beef and Veggie Yakisoba Recipe

Ingredients:

 Meat Marinade

  • 1 pound lean beef sliced thin (I used London broil)
  • 1 tablespoon finely diced ginger
  • ½ cup Saki

Veggies

  • 1 cup Diakon, sliced into thin strips
  • ½ cup purple onion, sliced into thin strips
  • 1 cup carrot, sliced into thin strips (or use shoestring)
  • 1 ½ cups cabbage, sliced into thin strips

Sauce

  • 3 tablespoons saki
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire
  • 2 teaspoons ketchup
  • 2 teaspoons oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • ½ teaspoon sugar
  • Soy ginger seasoning pack from noodles
  • 2 packages Soy Ginger Yakisoba Stir Fry Noodles
  • Few teaspoons sesame oil

Directions:

  1. In a medium mixing bowl stir together the ginger and saki. Add in the beef cover and set aside in the fridge to marinate.
  2.  Heat a wok over medium high heat, add a teaspoon of sesame oil and sauté all the veggies until tender but not mushy. Remove from wok
  3. Add a teaspoon sesame oil to wok and place over medium high heat. Shake off excess marinade from the meat and cook for 3-5 minutes on each side.
  4. Add the sauce ingredients to wok with the meat. Let cook for 1-3 minutes until hot and bubby. Stir in noodles and veggies. Cook for 2-3 minutes. Serve and Enjoy!
