Review: Ozeri 8″ Textured Green Earth pan

Ozeri 8″ Textured Green Earth pan
Want a pan that doesn’t require much oil, yet can fry an egg? Then you should purchase the Ozeri textured green earth pan. The textured bottom is pretty cool looking and I assumed it would probably make the food stick, NOPE, not at all, those textured grooves actually help the food float. Or so it seems. ozeri green earth pan
This pan is GREBLON – an ultra-safe ceramic coating from Germany which is 100% PTFE and PFOA free. Now your pan isn’t going to make your food toxic or the air around you like Teflon. green fry pan
Make sure you read the directions that come with it. Mine said to lightly oil the pan with a towel. I did as the directions said. I then made a grilled cheese and it came out perfect! It cooked faster and at a lower temperature than I normally use. Clean up was simple, but I didn’t expect much with only a grilled cheese.grilled cheese
The true test is eggs. First I fried an egg with NO oil or fats added!!!! That alone is a super feat! My egg came out perfect. It didn’t stick at all. Well as my normal readers know I have a houseful of kids. We fried a second one, again without oil. This time the egg did stick some but only after flipped. The egg wasn’t a total loss but it wasn’t as pretty as the first one. I would suggest a small amount of oil after the first egg.egg fried without oil
Now onto cleaning the pan, one of the hardest things is scrambled eggs that have dried on. So we scrambled some eggs, let the pan sit and get dried on good. It washed so easy you would have thought we put it to soak. My 12 year old daughter cooked the egg and washed the pan, it was that easy! ozeri green pan
You can purchase the pan from Amazon. It’s even an Amazon prime item. The Green Earth Pan comes in 3 sizes. The 8” is the smallest, then a 10 inch and a 12 inch. I would suggest the 10 inch one. It’s a great overall size! Below is a link to purchase the 10 inch pan. egg fried with fat
