Eggnog Snickerdoodle Cookies


Eggnog in a cookie! Even people that don’t like eggnog like these cookies. They are soft and scrumptious. Eggnog Snickerdoodle’s are a nutmeg flavored cookie.

Eggnog Snickerdoodle Cookies Recipe

Ingredients:

3 cups flour
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ cup sugar
2 teaspoons ground nutmeg
½ cup butter
½ cup margarine
1 ½ cups sugar
2 eggs
½ teaspoon rum extract
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400. In a bowl sift together the flour, cream of tartar, and baking soda. In a separate small shallow bowl combine the ½ cup sugar and nutmeg. Set both aside.
In yet another separate bowl, cream together the butter, margarine and 1 ½ cups sugar. Now add the eggs one at a time, mixing well in between each one. Add the extract. Now slowly add the flour mixture a scoop at a time, until it’s all combined. egg nog dough
Drop about a 1 inch ball into the sugar and nutmeg mixture, nutmeg cookieroll it around to coat, and then place on a baking sheet. egg nog cookies
Bake for 8-10 minutes or until slightly golden. Cool and enjoy!
