Woolzies Dryer Balls
Woolzies Dryer Balls have a big promise of reducing drying time by 25%! I really doubted that they would work that well. So I was REALLY wrong! They work exactly as the package states.
So let’s start with the fact that they are 100% Eco-friendly and a natural fabric softener. They even tell you a way to add any fragrance that you want from a traditional fabric softener. I will ALWAYS use them for my towels now. Soft and fluffy without any chemicals, I really did not think that they would out-do my favorite fabric softener, but they do. I love that they are nothing but wool balls.
Ok so now to the good stuff. How well they actually dry my clothes. My first use with them was a load of towels. I washed them without fabric softener and threw them in the dryer with the Woolzies. Usually my towels take a little over an hour to dry, 70 minutes on high. I set my dryer to casual. The towels were dry in 40 minutes!!! After a few dry’s with the Woolzies and they are already absorbing water better.
My husband is a lineman and wears all FR (fire retardant) clothing. They cannot be washed with fabric softener. The clothes are always stiff and coarse, but not any longer! Now I can throw in Woolzies and have them soft and fluffy. What a great solution to my problem!
Oh yeah, and they don’t make any noise in the dryer. Woolzies are so awesome I will be ordering another set when these run out, which is after 1,000 loads. Well I am off to do my bedding now so I can have the extra softness there too!
