My girls love to do crafts. With summer about here we are going to a bunch of Luau parties. We recently went to one and we were given an awesome little gift. It was a little baggie with cut out flowers a string and cut up straws. My 9 year old absolutely loved the idea of making her own Hawaiian Lei! She even wore it to cook desert!
We also recently did a Luau party for Girl Scouts and I ordered some Mega Plastic Lei assortment (100 plastic flower leis)
from amazon. There were a good deal if you need a bunch.
