Crab Stuffed Avocado
Crab stuffed avocado is an impeccable appetizer, lunch, or side dish. It’s creaminess will have you in a dreamlike state. It’s best served hot, yes hot avocado although you can serve it cold.
I served this as an appetizer and it all disappeared. My kids were all upset that they didn’t get any of it. I had to make the crab stuffed avocado
Crab Stuffed Avocado Recipe
Ingredients:
6 Avocados
6 ounces crab meat
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup bread crumbs
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 orange, juiced
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425. Slice avocados in half and remove the seed.
Scoop out most of the inside of each avocado and place in a medium sized bowl, saving the skin of the avocado. Place the skin of the avocado on a baking sheet with a rack.
Mash the filing of the avocado in the bowl with the orange juice, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Once its combined add the crab meat, Parmesan cheese, and the juice from the orange. Stir only to combine.
Fill the skins with the crab mixture. Sprinkle with bread crumbs. Bake for 10 minutes, serve hot and enjoy!
