Homemade Alfredo Sauce #Recipe
This is so simple there are only 3 ingredients! It only takes 10-15 minutes to make fresh homemade Alfredo sauce. I sometimes add a little nutmeg and garlic to my Alfredo but that is optional.
We love to eat our Alfredo sauce over fettuccine but we also use it as a dip for bread sticks, as a white sauce on pizza, and even in casseroles. It so easy and you can cut the recipe down to make a small batch or double for a big gathering.
Homemade Alfredo Recipe
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon Butter
4 cups heavy whipping cream (or half & half)
5 ounces grated parmesan cheese
 Directions:
Melt the butter in a skillet with high sides or a pan. On Medium heat, pour in the whipping cream and stir until it starts to warm a little.
Now use a whisk and add the grated cheese. you will need to stir the remainder of time. The cheese will start to melt and clump together on the whisk. This is normal. Just knock some of the cheese off and continue stirring. It will melt completely and form the delicious Alfredo you know and love.
