Grilled Pineapple Trifle Recipe

Pineapple season is finally here. Do you love Pineapple? Then you should try my Grilled Pineapple Trifle recipe.  I love grilling pineapple. I think it enhances the flavor. I also love to make a trifle dessert because its simple and I don’t have to get fancy with decorating.
Summer time and pineapple go so well together! Not as well as watermelon but hey its close! I made grilled pineapple trifle for a pot luck and it was gone!
Grilled Pineapple Trifle Recipe

Ingredients:

1 yellow cake (I used a boxed one),cooked, cooled and cut into bite size pieces
1 whole pineapple sliced into rings and grilled (see recipe HERE) reserve 3 rings and cut the rest into chunks
2 pkg (3.4 ounces) vanilla pudding
3 cups milk
8 ounces cool whip
1 (3 ounce) pineapple jello

Directions:
Whisk together milk and pudding mix until slightly thickened. Set aside in fridge.
Very gently mix together cool whip and the pineapple jello.

In a large bowl, begin to layer the dessert in the following order: cake, pineapple chunks, pudding, cool whip. Then repeat.

Finish off with the cool whip layer. Add the 3 reserved rings to the top. Refrigerate or serve immediately! #homemadeYUMMY
