Bleu Buffalo Grilled Cheese

Bleu Buffalo Grilled Cheese was inspired by buffalo wings with a side of bleu cheese dressing of course! I was waiting in line at the deli counter for my turn to order some sliced chicken when I spied the Boars Head Bold MarBleu cheese. I had ordered it before and its so very good. Then I started to taste a recipe like I do and this recipe was born! I quickly ordered a pound sliced up, ran back to the bakery grabbed the fresh made white bread and couldn’t wait to get home.

I quickly made a sandwich for myself and everyone home and discovered it needed tweaking so that is where the provolone came in. It added a depth of flavor to the sandwich that was needed.

So I hope you enjoy this Bleu Buffalo Grilled Cheese. Gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches are so delicious!

Bleu Buffalo Grilled Cheese Recipe

Ingredients:

2 slices of white bread
1 tablespoon room temperature butter
2 slices Boars Head Bold MarBleu cheese
1 slice provolone
3 slices Boars Head Blazing Buffalo Chicken breast

Directions:

Heat a pan on medium high. Spread the butter on the backsides of the bread. Place butter side down on the hot pan add a slice of the marBleu cheese.
On top of that stack the blazing buffalo chicken breast slices and the provolone cheese.

Add the last slice of MarBleu cheese and the top bread. I place a large metal bowl over my skillet for a minute to let the heat cook the inside of this sandwich.

Cook on each side until golden. Serve hot and enjoy!
