A Retreat for me and my blog at the

Food Wine Conference #FWCon

Last year I attended the Food Wine Conference. At first thought I was attending a work event. What I ended up at was more like a retreat for me and my blog. I also ended up meeting my virtual family. Also be prepared to EAT and DRINK it is called THE FOOD WINE conference.

The Food Wine Conference is a wonderful place to refresh yourself and your blog. You get to relax and mingle with people that have very similar goals and issues. Everyone understands that being a blogger is work and you even get to learn some great information to boost your blog to the next level. I am so excited for this year to come so I can refresh my site by learning some new trends.

First of all the event is held at the prestigious Rosen Shingle Creek Resort. This place is stunning and the first meal served during the Food Wine Conference is a Taste of Rosen. Holy moly is that an amazing spread from the variety of restaurants at the hotel.  If you hurry you maybe able to get a discount on your room for the conference

Now onto the event itself. The first day is the Welcome Reception and really about mingling and getting to know old and new faces. Make sure you don’t get shy, come out of your shell and interact with people. Many of my Sunday Supper family will be there and if you noticed I said family and not friend. These people quickly become family. Yup, next year you could be sitting at your computer writing up a post about being excited to go see everyone you met from last year. Yes, you will want to go back again and again! You may even run into a Food Network Star like my friend Emily Ellyn!

The next 2 days of the Food Wine Conference are considered work but when your work is doing something you love is it every really work? They day starts bright and early with breakfast. After our tummies are full we start in on the sessions and filling our brains to fuel our blogs forward. There are breaks filled with more fuel for your tummy too!

My favorite part is on the second day. The Sunday Supper Dinner and Awards presented by Certified Angus Beef is such a blast and so delicious. This year its a 50’s theme, EEKKK! There is even a Strawberry Jam (Soc Hop) after dinner that the Florida Strawberry Growers Association is doing. Last years theme was Denim & Diamonds and we had an amazing time! Oh by the way you can purchase a companion ticket that allows a spouse (or friend) to join you to eat.

Among all the learning is also a really fun #hashed competition that is great to get in on. Or even just to watch but I would suggest getting in on the fun. I did last year and had a marvelous time. The cooking competition is a team event on Sunday. You first have to get your ticket and then get into the action on the Facebook group.

So do I have you convinced to come? Awesome, head to Food Wine Conference you can get a discount of $50 off using the code: AmyB2017

Please look for me and say hello. If your not able to attend you can follow along on my Social Media throughout the event.  Below is my
