Mint brownie Crackles

Mint Brownie Crackle Cookie #Recipe

Baking so many days in a row gets a little old. I tire of making the same cookies every year. I have created these in a similar recipe but it is all chocolate. You can get it HERE. This year I had a bag of Hersheys mint chocolate chips that I needed to use and some candy canes. I decided to make Mint Brownie Crackles. These are so very gooey and chewy. They cooked to perfection and were easily made from brownie mix and a few standard ingredients. Give them a try and let me know what you think.

Ingredients:

1 package brownie mix (I used double fudge)
1 cup flour
1 egg
½ cup water
¼ cup oil
½ a bag mint chocolate chips
1 cup confectioners’ sugar
1/3 crushed candy canes

Preheat oven to 350. In a bowl mix together the brownie mix, flour, egg, water, and oil only until combined. Mix in the chocolate chips. (The dough will be wet and sticky)

In a flat bowl mix together the confectioners’ sugar and crushed candy canes with a fork. Now using two spoons drop about ½ a teaspoon into the sugar mixture, roll it over and fully coat the cookie.

Transfer to a baking sheet. These don’t spread much so you can put them closer together on the pan.

Bake for 8-10 minutes or until cracked looking. Serve them up with a cold glass of milk and enjoy! #homemadeYUMMY
