Supreme Sugar Cookies

Supreme Rolled Sugar Cookies


Crunchy outside and a soft inside; these sugar cookies are SUPREME to all other sugar cookies! We have a cookie decorating party almost every year since Zana was walking. Everyone always wants my sugar cookie recipe. I have always held back until now.
Supreme Rolled Sugar Cookies 

Ingredients:

3 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1 cup softened butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
Directions:
In a bowl sift together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
Cream together the butter and sugar. Once blended turn mixer on high and beat until fluffy and almost white in color. Add one egg and beat well. Add the second egg and the vanilla beat well. Slowly add in the flour mixture.
Place dough in the fridge and let cool for at least 2 hours or until firm.sugar cookie dough
Preheat oven to 350. Roll the dough on a slightly floured surface. Roll to about ¼ to ½ inch thick.
Cut into various shapes with cookie cutters. christmas cookies Bake for 8-12 minutes or until the edges start to turn a little golden brown. sugar cookie soft
