Blood Orange Toddy Cocktail Recipe

My Blood Orange Toddy Cocktail is a perfect treat to indulge in the winter months. Its served hot and is a perfect cocktail on a cold night. The blood orange is a great wonderful winter fruit. Heat it up and add a few spices you have a nice drink. Add some brandy and you have a marvelous warm winter cocktail perfect for an intimate night around the fire or a party! The Cosmopolitan Rimmer almost twinkles in the light of the fire. You can leave out the Brandy and make it a mocktail for the kids to enjoy!

This recipe is kinda unique in that you are heating up soda, or as you in the north call it pop. The heat doesn’t make the fizz go away as you would think either. It stays fizzy and is all warm and cozy too! I did notice that the warm drink did get flat faster than a cold one does. Blood Orange Toddy Cocktail is also being entered into Stirring’s Blogger Recipe Challenge.
