Taco Lasagna
Layers of ground meat, beans, and queso make this dish an easy weeknight dinner idea.
- 1 Pound Ground Beef Or your choice of ground meat
- 1/2 tsp Each of Salt and Pepper
- 1/2 tsp Cumin
- 2/3 cup Desert Salsa
- 1 can Refried Beans
- 3/4 cup Desert Queso
- 5 Flour Taco Shells
- 1/2 cup Shredded Cheese Cheddar or Monterey Jack would work best.
Preheat oven to 375. In a skillet brown the ground meat. Drain and add back to the pan. Add the salt, pepper, cumin, and salsa. Stir to combine.
In a microwave safe bowl, heat the refried beans.
in a casserole dish start layering with a flour tortilla.
Next add 1/2 the ground beef mixture and top with another flour tortilla
Follow that with 1/2 the refried beans and 1/4 cup of the queso
Repeat with another Tortilla, Beef mixture, Tortilla, refried beans and queso and a final tortilla. Add the remaining queso and the shredded cheese. Bake for about 20 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
