Spring into Some Fun & Snacks

Spring in Florida is a little earlier than the rest of the country. When spring does roll around on the calendar we start hitting the beaches and pools. Anyone that loves to be at the beach can tell you that you get thirsty and hungry.
We try to stock up on our snacks and drinks because it saves a LOT of money. Thankfully you can save even more using a coupon at Publix CLICK HERE. Download the $5 digital coupon and head out to purchase some of the great products.

We picked up some Cherry Pepsi and Chex Mix for our beach trip! One of my daughters was the first one to the cooler and drank a Pepsi still warm. She also quickly grabbed the bag of Chex Mix and gobbled a bunch down before running out to body surf in the waves. Before long she was back out of the water wanting another drink and snack. I am so glad I bought so much and saved some money!

The snacks that we didn’t use at the beach are also perfect for our busy days of running from one practice to another all week. Somehow every time we get into the car someone yells “I am hungry” or “I am thirsty”. I like to pack a small cooler to keep in the car for just this reason. I also love to keep a few Natures Valley Granola bars. They are tasty and satisfy the sweet and crunchy cravings of busy kids.

Last night my grandson came over for dinner. After dinner I had some work on the computer to do but he wanted to sit with me and push the buttons. I remember all those snacks I saved on and grabbed him a Klondike Ice Cream Sandwich. I didn’t end up getting any work done but we did have fun with Photo Booth and sharing the snack.
