Peach Melba Cocktail or Mocktail

Peach Melba Cocktail or Mocktail

I love to create new cocktail recipes. I also love to be able to have a kid version or non-alcoholic beverage one called a mocktail. This allows my children to enjoy a virgin version of my same yummy drink. My Peach Melba Cocktail can also be made into a Cocktail. Just leave out the alcohol and serve it up to the little ones. (I suggest a different type of glass for the kiddos)
This week, January 13th, is Peach Melba day. I decided to work on a few recipes for this because I love the flavor combination of Peach Melba. For those that don’t know Peach Melba is poached peaches topped with vanilla ice cream and a raspberry sauce drizzled over it. I created this drink after that same flavors.

Peach Melba Cocktail or Mocktail Recipe

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups peach soda chilled
1 shot of Peach Schnapps
1/2-1 shot vanilla Vodka
10-12 or so frozen raspberries
Optional: canned whipped cream

Directions:

In a tall glass add the soda and alcohol (or omit alcohol for the Mocktail) Add the frozen raspberries. They are like an ice cube and flavor the soda too.
Now if you want whipped cream, (who wouldn’t) Don’t just go spraying it on top. Insert the nozzle a little under the soda and spray from there. It makes a difference in the flavors. Serve cold and enjoy!
