Grilled Cones
I love to use ice cream cones for all kinds of things besides just ice cream. Its a PERFECT toddler bowl for grapes, cereals, and other snacks. We also like to use them for desserts when we are camping. Chop up some banana, chocolate, and marshmallows. Toss those in a cone, wrap in foil and toss that in the fire or grill for a few minutes on each side. Open and enjoy! Grilled cones are a summer favorite around here!
These are so simple and tasty you will want to eat a bunch of them. You will want to make these over and over! Its a wonderful way to use up all those leftover cones. Grilled Cones even work with stale ice cream cones.
Grilled Cones Recipe
Ingredients:
2 bananas chopped
1/2 cup mini marshmallows (or large ones chopped)
1/2 cup chocolate chips (or chopped chocolate bark)
6 ice cream cones
Directions:
Mix together the banana, marshmallow, and chocolate.
Place the banana mixture into the cones.
Wrap cones in foil.
Place on the grill heated to 350 (an oven works too), or in your campfire.
Cook for 1-3 minutes (depending on your heat) and then flip. Cook again for 1-3 minutes. If the foil packet is to hot to hold your cones are ready! Let cool slightly unwrap and enjoy! #homemadeYUMMY
