Super SHARP zester and grater

I must start this off with a warning……this is SHARP. I mean really sharp! I grated my knuckle and did some nerve and tendon damage. I thought it was just an ordinary grater like the other one in my drawer. I used some pressure to grate a clove of garlic, and obviously used to much pressure. Being extra SHARP is a good thing though! It does have a protective cover.
So now, to how the zester works; I used it to grate lots and lots of cloves of garlic. The garlic is so fine that it seems to melt into my dishes. No more biting into a large chunk of garlic. I also zested some oranges and it worked perfect! The super easy and lightweight design, made that orange skin a thing of the past!
We use a great deal of fresh grated parmesan cheese. Grated really fine it seems like your getting a lot and you’re really not. The Busy Hedonist’s 2-in-1 Zester + Grater made grating that hard block of parmesan easy as butter. Normally I have to apply tons of pressure to get cheese and my arm gets tired of doing it ½ way through, not with this grater! I finished an entire block and didn’t even notice!
That brings me to my favorite feature; the handle and rubber feet. The handle fits perfectly in your hand. I get cramps in my hands some and I didn’t get any doing a 5 ounce block of parmesan! The little tiny rubber feet on the end hold it right where you put it. No more chasing the zester every time you grate. I tend to grate directly on the counter or a place and it stayed right where I put it the first time!
The one downside I found is that it’s difficult to clean. The way the etched blades are they seem to grab the food and hold it. Swooshing it in water helped make it easier. I would recommend the 2-in-1 Zester + Grater to any cook from beginner to advanced. It’s a MUST HAVE KITCHEN GADGET! My old flimsy one is in the garbage.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
