The first time I tasted hummus I thought it was just nasty. I have an open mind and decided to try one that was with sundried tomatoes. I liked it, so I tried another one and liked it too! Now we make hummus as a quick snack around the house. We also LOVE avocado so I combined the two. I have the Ninja BL700 Kitchen System
and I love it its like both a blender and food processor in one!
Here is the recipe:
1 (15 ounce) can garbanzo beans
1 avocado peeled and pitted
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons Tahini
½ teaspoon cumin
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 clove garlic finely chopped
Sprinkle of paprika
The Directions: mix all the ingredients into a blender or food processor until smooth and creamy. Serve with Pita chips, veggies, or any cracker.
