in Daytona Turkey Run 2018

*This is a sponsored post however my opinion is my own as are the words!

Local Family Fun Thanksgiving weekend in Daytona starting Thanksgiving morning. The Turkey Run festival is truly fun for everyone in your family. The grandparents will love telling stories of owning at least one of the stunning cars. The husband will be thrilled to see 3 different Bat Mobiles. The boys will all drool over the parts at the swap meet. All the females in the family will enjoy the craft fair! This isn’t even all the fun. Keep reading for more!

All this fun will be happening at the Daytona International Speedways infield. Check out the map ahead of time and plan your day ahead of time. The event will be open Thanksgiving morning at 8am and closes at 4pm. The same hours are on Friday and Saturday. Sunday is only 8am-2pm.

My plan is to send the family down Thanksgiving morning so I can have some peace to cook. Friday I will go with my middle daughter who is into photography to get some great pictures. Saturday my husband wants to go back down with me and show me all he found on Thursday. Tickets are very affordable and parking is FREE! Kids under 11 are FREE too.

This is the 45th annual Daytona Turkey Run and its HUGE. Its the largest combined car show and swap meet in the country. I love to take my family because it will get us fresh air and moving after eating all those high calorie dishes from Thanksgiving. I can accomplish some great family bonding with everyone in the family at an affordable event.

I am most excited about hopefully getting to see my dream car the 67 Mustang Convertible. Its the car I have wanted since I was just 18. I want to restore the car primarily myself oddly enough I am not a car girl. I can’t change my own oil, or fix my own car. Not sure why I want to do it I just do!

I am also excited to see the Mecum Auctions. I find an auction fun and have a hard time not raising my hand just because I am excited from the auctioneer. There is also Artisan Alley full of crafts and I forgot to mention the Little Gobblers fun zone filled with activities like bounce houses at NO additional charge.

My husbands favorite part aside from the Batcopter, Batmobile, and Batcycle is the Hops & Hoods Craft Beer Festival. There are hundreds of craft beers from over 40 breweries. 4 for $5 or better yet 10 for $10. Of course you have to be over 21. You can purchase your tickets online or at the event.

Which day are you planning to go to the Daytona Turkey Run? Say hello if you see me around. I will be the one drinking craft beers in all my homemade fashions drooling over the cars! Remember Daytona International Speedway November 22nd-25th or head to TurkeyRun.com
