FAST Pizza Crust

FAST Pizza Crust

Who doesn’t love pizza? I know my family LOVES pizza. I swear they would want it every night if I let them! Whats even better is to have pizza hot and fresh from the oven. Our house makes our own pizza’s. The kids love to help make the food and they seem to eat it better when they help. We also use this recipe to make pizza pockets.

Here is my Easy Fast Pizza Crust recipe. It doesn’t take long to make this crust and be eating pizzas before you know it! You will be eating pizza in about 45 minutes. Thats about how long it takes to order delivery. I also make my own Pizza Sauce that only takes 20 minutes!

Pizza Crust Recipe:

Ingredients:

1 package active dry yeast
1 tsp sugar
1 cup warm water
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
2 tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 tsp Italian seasoning blend (optional)

  Directions:

Heat oven to 450, grease pizza pan and dust with cornmeal. In a small (non metal) bowl mix together the yeast, sugar and warm water. Let stand until the yeast is creamy and bubbly, usually around 10 minutes.

While the yeast is setting, in a medium bowl mix together the flour, and salt. Once the yeast is ready pour it into the flour and add the oil. mix thoroughly until smooth. Let rest for about 5 minutes. The dough will puff up a little.

On a lightly floured surface, pat dough into a round pizza shape. Move the pizza crust over to the prepared pizza pan and top with desired toppings. (Here is my Recipe for 20 Minute Pizza Sauce) bake for 15-20 minutes. Serve and Enjoy!
