Daytona Turkey Run 2019

46thAnnual Daytona Turkey Run

Thanksgiving and the Daytona Turkey Run are a part of my Thanksgiving weekend tradition. This year the 46thannual event will take place November 28th– December 1st, 2019. Don’t worry if your busy you can always attend the spring event. The dates were just released March 27-29, 2020.

Fun for the Family

The Daytona Turkey Run isn’t only cars. It’s actually fun for the entire family. The Little Gobblers Play Zone is perfect for the kids and its FREE. Actually kids 11 and under are free to get it.   You can also meet Rick and Kelly from American Restoration on the History Channel. They will be available for autographs Friday and Saturday 10am-2pm. If you loved the show the Munster’s you will love the Daytona Turkey Run because Butch Patrick will be around with a few Munster’s vehicles. Stroll over to the midway for all the food vendors.

The Artisan Alley is full of homemade wonders. After all that fun head over the Hop & Hood’s craft beer festival with over 120 different craft beers. There are over 48 breweries coming to the Daytona Turkey Run on Saturday November 30thfrom 12-4pm. Of course, you must be over 21. You can purchase tickets for the beer tasting ahead of time at TurkeyRun.com

Fun for the Car Lover

For the car lovers there are over 6,000 cars on display and for sale. You will see vintage, classic, custom muscle, race and trucks among others too! This year’s raffle car is an Impala. It sure is a beauty.  There is also a massive swap meet where you can sell and trade hard 2 find parts and accessories.  Plus, you can’t go wrong with walking around the Daytona International Speedway.

While there you can check out a simulation of a Mecum Auctions mobile experience. There are even hands on experiences. Some of those cars they auction make me drool and I am not a car enthusiast.

When and Where and how much

Don’t forget the 46thannual Daytona Turkey Run starts Thanksgiving morning at 8am and closes at 4pm. The same hours are same for Friday and Saturday. The cost for these days is $15 for adults. Kids and parking are free. Sunday the cost is only $10 and will be open from 8am-2pm. Don’t miss out on this great family tradition!
