Review: From Frights to Flaws: A Magical Book for Tweens
From frights to flaws is a great book for the tween in your life. I read this awesome tale with my 9 and 12 year olds. They really enjoyed it, especially my 9 year old. She really enjoys magical and mystical stories. This one left her wanting more!
The author wrote From Frights to Flaws well for the age group. I believe that young teens would even enjoy the story. Younger children wouldn’t understand the story line very well but you could try. It’s amazing the author is barely past this age group! She is only in college!
Right from the beginning you feel for poor Alyssia, her parents died in a car accident. She is living a life similar to Cinderella. There are a lot of details that kids can relate too. She wears skinny jeans and likes Panera bread!
I loved the end, don’t worry I am not going to say! Hopefully book 2 comes out soon! I suggest you read this with your children!
