Baked Dutch Apples

Baked Dutch Apples
I love a dutch apple pie. I was craving it for breakfast, but didn’t want all the fuss and time to make one. So I came up with this twist to dutch apple pie and baked apples. We quickly gobled them up.

Ingredients:
10 apples
Lemon juice (few tablespoons)
1cup flour
2/3 cup brown sugar
Pinch of cloves
1 tsp cinnamon
½ stick of butter (4 tablespoons)
½ cup of water (about)

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375. Cut apples in half and scoop out the core. Rub each half down with lemon juice to prevent browning.Place on baking sheet cut side up.

Top the cut apples with a heaping spoonful of the topping.

Pour the water in the bottom of the pan. It steams the apples. (it should be enough to cover the bottom of the pan) Bake for about 30 minutes.
