~This is a sponsored post, however my opinions are my own~

Long, long, long ago lived Queen Maria Isabella from the Realm of Medieval Times. She wanted to show her people the best knights in the land. Also, the most talented and beautiful horses.  She decided to throw a royal feast, inviting everyone in the land to her Medieval Times Castle.

I was fortunate enough to get an invite to the Royal feast and celebration!  Upon my family’s arrival we were given small gifts of paper crowns matching the region of your knight. Our regions knight was the Black and White Knight. Once in the outer area of the castle we were able to purchase bottles of wine to be delivered at dinner, cocktails and even souvenirs.

The queen made a stunning entrance thanking us for joining her. She even knighted a few of the land’s children. Those children were so excited and proud when they left the stage.

Soon we were called into the center of the castle for the great show and feast. My eyes were surprised by the size of the Medieval Times castle. The space was enormous, and I got excited at the thought of the upcoming show. We were shown to our seats and given soda in our steins. Next came a crunchy piece of garlic bread, followed by a ladle of tomato bisque.

You may not know but there wasn’t silverware long long long ago and there wasn’t any silverware to accompany our feast at Medieval Times. You feast with your hands! Don’t worry the tomato bisque bowl has a handle so you aren’t slurping soup out of your hand! (Warm towels are passed out to wash with)

As we feasted on our soup a stunning falcon came into the tournament area and soared around the dining chambers. The flight was fascinating to watch. Next came the equestrians showing off their dressage training.  Queen Maria Isabella sure does have amazing horsemanship skills.

As our chicken was being passed out the knights entered and the queen introduced us to each one competing in the epic battles. No realm in the dining chamber yelled louder than when our humble, loyal, and invincible Black and White Knight. Another round of food came. This time it was succulent corn trailed by a hearty herb basted potato.

While we feasted upon the tender meal the Queen announced that it was time for the tournament to begin. We cheered, with chicken in hand, as our Black and White Knight began to joist and perform other phenomenal feats with their lances. Our cherished Knight won a few rounds of these games but did not win overall.

We still cheered loudly with our corn cobs in our hands! This all lead to the hand to hand combat. We saw battles with swords, alabardas, and maces. Thankfully the knights all wore armor and the queen demanded kindness over the kill. Our beloved Black and White Knight was knocked out of the championship around the time our dessert and coffee was being delivered.

The Green Knight conquered the other knights. We finished our steins and the Queen actually thanked us all for coming. She enjoyed our realms cheering so much that she gave me a coupon code for my loyal readers to come to (at a reduced rate) and feast with her! Her Royal Highness Queen Maria Isabella is kind beyond words!
